Stew also hates virus as you do

The said worm spreads through removable drives and will create a folder on all of active drives. Causing all local disk drives to set on autorun. So whenever you open a local drive directly hence the worm can propagate itself easily. Solutions can be found after the jump.

How to remove MyMp3 Worm:

Automatic Removal: Download RemoveIt Pro and install the application. Perform a scan and wait for it to finish. It would actually detect the virus as MyMp3.vbs worm. When prompted press FIX and follow the prompts. Then restart your computer.

Delete Related Files:

1. Download the compressed file mymp3-remover and save to your desktop
2. Uncompress the file and it contains a batch file called mymp3remover.bat
3. Double-click the file to delete all malicious files on computer.
4. Restart your computer.

Manual Procedure: This procedure will remove MyMP3.vbs and Autorun.Inf on your computer.

End Windows Process:
1. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del
2. Windows Task Manager will appear
3. On Process tab, click “wscript.exe” and click “End Process”. If more that one “wscript.exe” process is running, please end all.

Remove Registry Entry:
1. Go to Start>Run and type “regedit
2. Go to the Key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
3. Delete the Value with Data: C:\WINDOWS\MyMP3.vbs

Delete Related Files:

3. Double-click the file to delete all malicious files on computer.
4. Restart your computer.
